We hope you love your LiuArt jewellery. However, we understand that sometimes a purchase may not be quite right. Please read our returns policy below before returning an item.

Change-of-mind returns

LiuArt accepts eligible change-of-mind returns requested within 30 days of delivery, except for items purchased from the Special Offers collection.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be:

• unworn and unused;
• in its original condition;
• returned with its original packaging; and
• accompanied by proof of purchase.

For hygiene reasons, earrings must not have been tried on or worn.

To request a return, please contact us at liuart.au@gmail.com before sending the item back. Please include your order number and the reason for the return.

Items returned without first contacting LiuArt may not be accepted.

Care Instructions

LiuArt jewellery is handmade and should be treated with care to help preserve its appearance and durability.

• Store your jewellery in a clean, dry place, preferably away from direct sunlight and humidity.
• Avoid contact with water, perfume, hairspray, lotions, cleaning products and other harsh chemicals.
• Remove your jewellery before swimming, bathing, exercising or sleeping.
• Avoid dropping, crushing or bending polymer clay components.
• Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth. If necessary, use a slightly damp cloth and dry the piece immediately.
• Do not soak your jewellery or use abrasive cleaners.
• Store pieces separately where possible to help prevent scratching, tangling or damage.

Plated metals and brass may gradually change in appearance over time, particularly with frequent exposure to moisture, sweat, perfume or humidity. Sterling silver may naturally tarnish and can be gently polished with a suitable silver polishing cloth.

Resin surfaces should be kept away from strong heat, prolonged sunlight and abrasive materials.

Cord necklaces and bracelets should be kept dry and stored without tight knots or pressure to help maintain their shape.

With proper care, your LiuArt jewellery can be enjoyed for a long time.

Where is LiuArt jewellery made?

Every LiuArt piece is handmade by Liliane in Perth, Western Australia.

Each design is created in small quantities, and many pieces are completely one of a kind.

What materials do you use?

LiuArt jewellery is primarily handmade using polymer clay, with materials and components varying between designs.

Depending on the piece, components may include:

• 316 surgical stainless steel

• 304 stainless steel

• gold-plated stainless steel

• 925 sterling silver

• brass

• resin

• nylon, polyester or braided cords

Is LiuArt jewellery suitable for sensitive skin?

Many LiuArt designs use stainless steel or sterling silver components, which are commonly chosen by people with sensitive skin. However, individual sensitivities and allergies vary, and we cannot guarantee that any material will be suitable for every person.

Some designs may contain brass or other mixed-metal components. Please review the materials listed in the product description before purchasing.

Our Everyday Luxe Collection features carefully selected premium components, including surgical stainless steel, sterling silver and gold plated stainless steel, with materials clearly listed in each product description.

Are your earrings nickel-free?

We do not describe all LiuArt earrings as nickel-free.

The materials used vary between designs and are listed in the product description whenever that information is available. Stainless steel may contain nickel as part of its composition, although many people find quality stainless steel comfortable to wear.

Customers with a known nickel or metal allergy should carefully review the listed materials before purchasing.

Do your products contain resin?

Some LiuArt pieces are finished or decorated with resin to add shine, protection or detail.

When resin is used, it is listed in the product description.

Is polymer clay flexible or fragile?

Properly cured polymer clay is lightweight and durable, with some natural flexibility depending on the thickness and shape of the design.

However, it is not unbreakable. Excessive bending, dropping, crushing or applying strong pressure may damage the piece.

Please handle your jewellery with care and store it safely when it is not being worn.

Will my piece look exactly like the photographs?

We photograph each product as accurately as possible. However, because LiuArt jewellery is individually handmade, small variations in colour, pattern, texture, shape or finish may occur.

These subtle differences are part of the handmade process and make each piece unique. The item should still reasonably match the photographs and description shown on the product page.

Why might the colours look different on my screen?

Colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen settings, device, lighting conditions and display brightness.

We make every effort to represent each piece accurately, but minor differences may occur.

How should I care for my LiuArt jewellery?

To help protect your jewellery, keep it dry, avoid contact with perfumes, lotions and harsh chemicals, and remove it before swimming, bathing, exercising or sleeping.

Store each piece carefully and clean it gently using a soft cloth. Avoid bending, dropping or crushing polymer clay components.

How long will my jewellery last?

The lifespan of handmade jewellery depends on the materials, how often it is worn and how it is cared for.

Polymer clay is lightweight and durable when handled correctly. Stainless steel and sterling silver are generally durable materials, while plated finishes and brass may gradually change in appearance through regular wear or exposure to moisture and chemicals.

Are your products ready to ship?

Most LiuArt products are ready to ship unless otherwise stated on the product page.

Please allow up to four business days for your order to be processed, packed and dispatched. Delivery times begin after the order has been dispatched.

How much is shipping within Australia?

Standard shipping within Australia costs:

• Orders below $50: $5

• Orders of $50 or more: Free

Express shipping is available for $14.

Do you offer international shipping?

LiuArt currently ships within Australia only.

Can I return an item if I change my mind?

Eligible change-of-mind returns may be requested within 30 days of delivery.

The item must be unworn, unused, in its original condition and returned in accordance with our Refund Policy. Customers are responsible for return postage costs for change-of-mind returns.

For hygiene reasons, earrings must not have been tried on or worn.

Items purchased from the Special Offers collection are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged due to a change of mind.

Can I return an item purchased during a website promotion?

Yes. Items purchased during a general LiuArt promotion, including an automatic website discount or promotional discount code, remain eligible for return under our standard return conditions.

Any approved refund will be based on the amount actually paid after the discount was applied, not the original full price.

This does not apply to items purchased from the Special Offers collection, which are final sale for change-of-mind purposes.

What should I do if my order arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect?

Please contact LiuArt as soon as possible and provide:

• your order number;

• a description of the issue; and

• clear photographs of the item and packaging.

Please do not return or dispose of the item until we have reviewed the issue and provided instructions.

When an item is confirmed to be faulty, damaged on arrival or incorrectly supplied, LiuArt will provide an appropriate solution in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law. This may include a repair, replacement or refund, depending on the circumstances.

Final-sale conditions do not exclude your rights regarding faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied products.

Can I exchange an item?

Because many LiuArt pieces are handmade and one of a kind, we cannot guarantee that the same design will be available for an exchange.

The simplest option is usually to return an eligible item for a refund and place a new order for your preferred piece.

Please review our Refund Policy before requesting a return.

Do you accept custom orders?

LiuArt primarily offers ready-to-ship designs and does not guarantee availability for custom orders.

You are welcome to contact us with your request, and we will let you know whether it is possible.
